CO 3913 Screenwriting: 3 hours.
Three hours lecture. An introductory course on the craft and art of effective screenwriting. Students will learn the fundamentals necessary to create scripts for film and television. Students will practice structuring films and television shows, focusing on techniques for visual storytelling such as plot, structure, atmosphere, characterization, subtext, and dialogue. Students will also be exposed to the business side of screenwriting. (Same as EN 3913)
